This is a post that I will write so you can know what gets me going. Ideas that set me on fire, or rather, allow me to slay the dragon “Boredom,” if you want to mix metaphors. It’s a feel good post. So enjoy it. :-)
Things that are inspiring me, and my art, today:
The Hobbit.
Did anybody else see the midnight premiere? I did. Kudos to the dude who stood, bedecked in a golden inner tube, and shouted out, “One Ring shall rule them all!” Your (prolonged) moment of dorking out just made my awesome moment awesomer. :-)
James Newton Howard’s The Hunger Games score. I caved and bought the whole album the other day. So worth it. I’ve had it running nearly non-stop since.
Anticipation of Christmas
and enjoyment of its lights.
Unfortunate landings.
And finally, a new camera. (Canon Rebel T3i.) Named him Lloyd, after my Great Grandpa on my mom’s side.
Lloyd has quite an eye for coolness. (More of these soon.)
