The calm before the explosion.

That’s how the saying goes, right? The one small moment of “Ahh…” before the “wwwWWWWWOOOOOOOOAAAAAH!!!!!” School starts tomorrow. My life is going to change – again – and hopefully for the better. I’ll be learning, and reading, and writing, and eating lunch at (sometimes) scheduled times. Structure. Work. School. (And Wednesday is my first day of songwriting class. One small step for me, one giant leap for group band-hood.)

This is my time to take a breath. “One… two… three…” To inhale the pre-BOOM silence and let it settle. I’m praying, resting, and allowing myself to get slightly excited. Here we go. Until the next…

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
(Philippians 4:6 ESV)

  1. “…and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Phillipians 4:7 (ESV)
